The once controversial concept of the Unity Coalition for Israel has finally become mainstream. Christians and Jews working together under our banner for 15 years have made our unified effort not only bear fruit, but become politically correct. While confronting an ongoing jihad against Israel that began in 1948, we are doing battle against worldwide anti-Semitism and anti-Christian genocide. We have weathered the reinvention of Yassir Arafat into the "peacemaker", watched him in action during the Camp David fiasco, survived the Wye Agreement, the Oslo Accords, four intense years of the renewed intifada, and the rise of Hamas within the Palestinian Authority. We now enter a new era - Post-9/11 - as we counter radical Islamic ideology. The value of our strength in numbers and our unified voice has been validated both in the media and in the halls of Congress. We are now developing high school and college curricula to provide the youth of America with a better understanding of the radical global ideology that threatens our democratic way of life. Schools have become breeding grounds for anti-Semitic activism creating a climate of fear and hatred. To combat this movement, we will help to prepare a generation of Americans to defend Western values.
