Dr. Labib MikhailPastor, Author & Journalist, President - Blessed Hope Ministry
Dr. Labib Mikhail is a journalist, pastor, television, and radio speaker. He is the author of fifty books in Arabic and seven books in English. He is the founder, owner, and editor of the bi-monthly Arabic Christian magazine, Al-Akhbar Al-Sarah (The Good News) published since 1952.
Prior to moving to the United States, Dr. Labib Mikhail founded and pastored churches in Egypt for thirty-four years.
Dr. Mikhail was the president of the General Bible Baptist council in Egypt for five years.
Dr. Mikhail was professor of homiletics, psychology, and Church history at Faith Mission Bible College in Cairo, Egypt, for three years.
He has preached to thousands in evangelistic campaigns throughout the major cities of Egypt and Lebanon. He also preached in London, England, Baghdad, Iraq, Dusseldorf, Germany, and lectured in conferences at the Institute for Muslim studies of Wheaton College, Illinois, and in Canada, and in many prophetic conferences in the United States.
Dr. Mikhail holds B.A., M.A., and Th.D degrees from the International Bible Institute and Seminary. He earned a certificate in pastoral counseling from Liberty Baptist College. He has a diploma in journalism from the College of Journalism in Cairo, Egypt.
Dr. Mikhail is currently involved in reaching Muslims for Christ. He authored eight books on Islam. He is in demand as a speaker in prophetic conferences as well as seminars on Islam in the United States and Canada.
Dr. Mikhail debated Imam Ahmed Hussein, at Northern Virginia Community College, on May 14, 1986.
He also debated Dr. Jamal Badawi, Imam [Islamic clergyman] of the Islamic Association of Maritime Provinces in Canada at Saint Mary's University, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, on February 1, 1988. A two hour video of that debate was recorded and is available upon request
His book, Muhammad and the Koran, A Documented Analysis, is welcomed by English speaking people as an informative source on Islam.
