Rev. Willem Glashouwer has been the president of Christians for Israel International for ten years. The organization was founded in Holland in 1980 with an international office in Holland and national branches in the USA, Canada, Germany, England and Australia.

Christians for Israel is a non-political movement of Christians who believe that the return of the Jewish people to Israel is a fulfillment of biblical prophecy. Their message to the church includes standing in solidarity with the Jewish people and the State of Israel by opposing anti-Semitism wherever it manifests itself - whether inside or outside Christian churches, Islam, or other religious and non-religious thinking.

Rev. Glashouwer's previous experience includes over 20 years in radio and TV production with the Evangelical Broadcasting Company (a Christian arm of Dutch State Television). He was the producer of many different types of Christian and religious programming. He has written two devotional books and one on Israel.
